Lead the Powertrain Design Quality team for both EV and IC engine systems. (IC Engines,Gearbox,Motor,Batterypack)
Align design quality strategies with organizational goals and global standards.
Ensure robust design quality across casting, machining, sheet metal,plastics and hydraulic components.
Drive early quality interventions through DFMEA, DVP&R, and design validation processes.
Timely release of Tooling kickof by ensuring drawing checks and design,manuafcturing requiremnents are met
Drive early quality integration through DFMEA, DVP&R, and validation processes.
Provide guidance on FE simulations and GD&T.
Review and approve critical design decisions, ensuring alignment with performance, durability,and regulatory requirements.
Work closely with Design, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and Testing teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
Interface with suppliers and external partners to ensure quality compliance.
Mentor and develop a high-performing team of design quality engineers.
Promote knowledge sharing and technical training across the department.

6) Proficiency in 3D CAD tools like CATIA or UG NX
7)Certifications in Six Sigma, Quality Engineering, or similar.
