About this role

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • Must be from automotive OEM (Passenger vehicle) company with minimum 4 years of experience in manufacturing Quality
  • Holding  Degree/Post graduation in Automobile/Mechanical/Electricals
  • Hands on experience of automotive processes & troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of Vehicle Commodities like Trims, Chassis(DAC), Rubber & Glasses, Electricals, Mechanism.
  • Knowledge/Know-how of vehicle of Automobile parts, their function & problem solving
  • Handling of Next customer issues (RFI)- root cause analysis and action planning with horizontal deployment.
  • Handling of field concerns- root cause analysis and action planning with horizontal deployment.
  • Knowledge of New product development (NPD) process. Should be able to handle FTR.
  • Participating in various CFTs like EN, DCP, MPPAP, etc.
  • Managing & strengthening of Buy off checks and EOL inspection.
  • Carry out process and product audits as per plan and getting colure of audit observations.
  • Ensure right quality of outgoing vehicles.
  • Managing shop Quality indicators.
  • Communicate shop / plant actions on product issues to internal & external customers.
  • Guide associates in their routine activities
  • Co-Ordinate to resolve chronic concerns through QC story Approach
