Job Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY: 

  • Responsible for the scheduling, tracking and evaluating the preventative maintenance plans for plant equipment
  • Responsible for generating maintenance plans based on supplier recommendations and industry best practices
  • Ensures that spare parts are available in inventory for emergency breakdowns, and preventative maintenance procedures.  
  • Follow and abide by all government, Legal, Magna and MST rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrate a maturity of judgement, leadership skills, attention to detail and exceptional organizational, listening, communication and presentation skills in all aspects of the job function.

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Computer skills in Microsoft office suite.
  • Familiar with ERP systems and CMMS planning software.
  • Advanced math skills with the ability to apply to cost and analyze data.

EDUCATION: 

  • High School Diploma or GED and at least a 2-year degree from an accredited technical college or post-secondary school. 
  • Preferred 4-year degree from an accredited technical college or university.
