Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is bidding on a high-level government satellite communications support program and recruiting for a Defense Satellite Communication System SME who functions as a technical expert for the DSCS satellite and RSCCE.

 

Performance location is Colorado Springs, CO

 

ALL positions concerning this effort are contingent upon contract award

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Provide DSCS and RSCCE training to DSCS operators

  • Required at least annually and additional trips scheduled based on mission requirements

  • Training materials and instruction accurately reflect current operational procedure

  • Provide expert technical information and analysis concerning DSCS performance and RSCCE operations. 

  • Identify trends, impacts, and areas requiring attention

  • Analysis products are accurate, relevant, technically sound and support decision-making

  • Products clearly communicate findings, impacts, and recommended follow-on action

  • Resolve complex satellite anomalies

Minimum Requirements

 

Experience:

10 years’ experience specific to DSCS satellite RSCCE ground system operations and maintenance

 

Education:

High School

 

Certifications:

None

 

Clearance:

Top Secret

US Citizenship required

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $80500 to $149500 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
