  • Recommend optimal style counts, depth, and flow to deliver sales and margin targets
  • Present preseason plans and financial recommendations during investment and line review meetings

In Season

  • Lead weekly and monthly recaps, analyzing performance against forecast to identify risks and opportunities
  • Reforecast sales, margin, and inventory based on current business trends and inventory health
  • Partner with Merchandising, Allocation, and Finance to optimize product flow, receipt management, and promotional strategies
  • Recommend markdown, pricing, and reflow actions to maximize profitability and minimize liability
  • Manage OTB (Open-to-Buy) and hindsight processes to ensure alignment with financial objectives
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to leadership, connecting insights to actions that improve performance

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of experience in merchandise planning, allocation, or financial analysis
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and Excel skills
  • Proven ability to translate data into insights and influence cross-functional partners

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

  • Experience planning across multiple categories or channels
  • Advanced proficiency with planning tools and retail analytics systems
  • Demonstrated success managing OTB and seasonal investment strategies
  • Understanding of retail metrics such as sell-through, turn, and inventory-to-sales ratio
