Position Overview
MacMore is seeking experienced Contract Specialists to support USAID’s large-scale contract closeout and administration efforts. This role provides cradle-to-grave contract support, with a strong emphasis on closeout, terminations, cost evaluation, and compliance.
Contract Specialists operate with a high degree of autonomy while working under the guidance of warranted Contracting Officers.

Position Overview
MacMore is seeking experienced Contract Specialists to support USAID’s large-scale contract closeout and administration efforts. This role provides cradle-to-grave contract support, with a strong emphasis on closeout, terminations, cost evaluation, and compliance.
Contract Specialists operate with a high degree of autonomy while working under the guidance of warranted Contracting Officers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare pre-award and post-award contract documentation for review and approval.
- Perform contract administration and closeout activities in accordance with FAR and AIDAR.
- Support contract terminations and negotiate termination settlements.
- Conduct detailed cost analyses and review costs for allowability and reasonableness.
- Coordinate and communicate directly with contractors regarding closeout actions.
- Maintain accurate contract files and ensure audit-ready documentation.
- Support data tracking and reporting related to contract actions and closeout progress.
- At least five (5) years of experience in U.S. Government contract management.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience supporting contract terminations and negotiating termination settlements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to function independently without performing inherently governmental functions.
