Job Summary

Supervises workers in a warehouse.

Job Duties

  • Oversee operations for a warehouse or during an assigned shift
  • Coordinate a team of hourly employees that store and distribute materials, equipment and/or supplies
  • Track inventory by performing physical counts and verifying information against warehousing systems
  • Monitor operations for compliance with regulations governing materials handling, storage, and distribution where applicable
  • Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
  • Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
  • Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education

  • Knowledge of the field's policies, procedures and practices
  • Lead and direct the work of other employees
  • Typically have full authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance or disciplinary actions
  • Typically require a high school diploma and 2 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
