Deliverables:

This Resource will ensure an integrated approach to the planning, development and execution activities related to the above projects/program.  There are multiple streams on the program that require Program Management to both identify and manage interdependencies.  This resource will also ensure that comprehensive program governance and reporting is delivered along with standard project management artifacts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as Program Manger to ensure project activities and objectives are aligned to the overall program. 
  
• Deliver governance and reporting.  
  
• Deliver standard Program Management artifacts (Charter, PCR etc.).
  
• Identify and manage project interdependencies.
  
• Create and maintain program RAID log. 
  
• Conduct stakeholder analysis and stakeholder feedback sessions. 
  
• Work with internal and external partners to plan and coordinate construction dates, furniture install dates and vendor implementation of I&IT-ITS Services. 
  
• Arrange for move day support. 
  
• Manage the implementation of an ITS TechLounge installation. 
  
• Development of a detailed recovery schedule.
  

Requirements

Experience and Skill Set Requirements:

Must Haves:

• Experience with relocation related projects / physical move logistics.
  
• Proven knowledge of I&IT services design and modernization, with particular focus in the area of telecommunications infrastructure rationalization, design, and migration.
  
• In-depth of experience leading complex Enterprise level projects related to technology implementations and transformations, workspace modernization, and user migrations.
  
• Demonstrated experience of PM methodologies, experience in creating project charters, integrated plan development, tracking issues/risks, managing and reporting project financials and developing governance models.
  

Nice to have:

• Prior OPS / public sector exp.
  

Skill Set Requirements:

Service Implementation, migration and transformation experience:

• Proven knowledge of I&IT services design and modernization, with particular focus in the area of telecommunications infrastructure rationalization, design, and migration.
  
• Demonstrated experience with leading I&IT service migrations, including working knowledge of migration methodologies, vendor management, service interdependencies.
  
• Ability to plan and execute large scale voice, data, and video services implementations and migrations.
  

Expertise and experience with Enterprise Project Management:

• The resource's depth of experience leading complex Enterprise level projects related to technology implementations and transformations, workspace modernization, and user migrations.
  
• Demonstrated experience of PM methodologies, experience in creating project charters, integrated plan development, tracking issues/risks, managing and reporting project financials and developing governance models.
  

Experience working with the Ontario Government:

• Working experience with OPS Enterprise Project management requirements would be an asset.
  
• Experience interacting with and navigating the coordination of critical milestones directly affecting Executive Offices.
  

Level of communications skills:

• Demonstrated experience working with key stakeholders and vendor partners (internal and external) and using communication skills to negotiate and document any project and process-related status information and obtain support from key stakeholders and clients on project-related deliverables.
