About this role

<p><span>We are currently looking for an Account Director to join one of M+C Saatchi Group's specialist divisions. World Services partners with governments, civil society, foundations, academia, and the private sector, we work on the critical issues of our time, including national security, social justice and conflict prevention. </span></p><p><span>We provide a fully integrated, end to end service, combining multi-discipline communications teams with subject matter experts, across the world. Our work is domestic and global, often affecting the most vulnerable in society, with international activity orientated towards developing countries, and fragile, conflict affected states.&nbsp;</span></p><div><p style="text-align:left;"></p></div><div><p style="text-align:left;"></p></div><div><p style="text-align:left;"><span><strong>What you'll do:</strong></span></p><ul><li><p>Oversee the end-to-end delivery of creative workstreams for an exciting social change campaign, ensuring quality, consistency, and on-time delivery.</p></li><li><p>Lead workstreams working closely with colleagues across strategy, creative, media and production teams.</p></li><li><p>A totally ‘safe pair of hands’ who can be left to oversee deliverables with minor oversight, including managing timings, budgets, quality control of delivery, spotting out of scope projects or potential new, more productive ways of working.</p></li><li><p>Mentor, develop and support juniors to deliver best in class communications through each stage of the campaign life cycle</p></li><li><p>Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners, providing strategic counsel, anticipating needs, identifying risks, and proposing clear, effective solutions.&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>About you: </strong></p><p><span>We are particularly interested in candidates with a working knowledge of, or a Degree in International Relations, Political Science, other related humanities, or social science. Languages are a big plus for us so if you're obsessed with understanding different cultures, with human psychology &amp; behavioural change and never put down your phone/books when it comes to staying up to date on geopolitics please submit your CV.&nbsp;</span></p><p></p><p><strong>What you'll bring: </strong></p><ul><li><p>Significant experience in a commercial communications capacity or in a similar fast-paced working environment </p></li><li><p>Highly motivated, passionate, and committed to delivering outstanding work.</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams in a busy <span>&nbsp;</span>environment ensuring effective prioritisation and timely delivery.</p></li><li><p>Ability to communicate with clarity and impact across written, verbal, and visual presentations, tailoring messaging to your audience.</p></li><li><p>Energised by innovation, tech-enabled solutions and new methods of delivery.</p></li><li><p>Interested in geopolitics and global affairs; knowledge or experience of the Middle East would be welcome. Arabic language skills an advantage but not essential.</p></li><li><p>Fluent in written and spoken English.</p></li><li><p>Practical understanding of business operations and commercial considerations.</p></li><li><p>Proficient in all components of Microsoft Office (Outlook, word-processing, power point and spreadsheets).</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Applications Close: Sunday 02 March.
