The Recruiting Manager plays a pivotal role in identifying and acquiring talent that can operate in this highly technical, deadline-driven, and compliance-intensive environment.

 

This role will support the Critical Infrastructure Solutions Business Unit (CIS-BU)’s operating unit Integrated Infrastructure & Communications Systems (I2CS) at M.C. Dean. 

 

I2CS is responsible for the design, integration, and implementation of low voltage telecommunications infrastructure in mission-critical environments. This unit plays a key role in ensuring seamless connectivity and communication across highly secure and operationally intensive facilities, including data centers, hospitals, and airports.

 

CIS-BU Focused Business Services:

  • Low Voltage System Integration: Specializing in the physical layer deployment of structured cabling systems, including copper and fiber-optic infrastructure.
  • Data Center Enablement: Building out end-to-end cabling pathways that link core network switches, servers, and storage systems, enabling robust, high-speed data transmission.
  • Healthcare Infrastructure Support: Deploying secure, standards-compliant cabling systems within hospitals to support clinical, administrative, and emergency response systems.
  • Aviation & Transportation Systems: Installing telecommunications cabling to support command centers, security systems, passenger information systems, and operations within airports and transit facilities.
  • Technical Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensuring that all infrastructure meets stringent industry codes, standards (such as TIA/EIA and BICSI), and project-specific specifications, including security and EMI mitigation.
  • Scalable and Resilient Deployments: Implementing solutions that are future-ready, modular, and capable of supporting evolving bandwidth and reliability demands.

 

The Role:

 

We are seeking a Technical Recruiter, Senior who has In-depth understanding of telecommunications information infrastructure engineering & construction to join our Critical Infrastructure Solutions (CIS) business Unit. As part of CIS/I2CS you will be part of a team that is a prime turnkey design-build/design assist & pre-construction services providing systems design, construction, installation & commissioning. This role reports to the Director of Talent Acquisition and is dotted line to the Project Teams for embedded relationship.

Location: Onsite, Tysons, VA
Travel: Up to 30% travel (job sites, customer sites)
Work Authorization: Must possess U.S. Work Authorization

 

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, develop, and maintain a candidate pipeline for Telecommunications Engineering, Project Leadership, Superintendent positions.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to comprehend their staffing needs.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies tailored to the specific needs of roles for Project Leaders, Engineering Leaders, and Superintendents as the top three roles you will recruit for.  
  • Utilize a mix of targeted sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, industry-specific platforms, and networking, to identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Source, woo, and hire I2CS electrical designers and engineers, project leaders and managers, and other critical roles starting from Superintendent and higher.
  • Follow OFCCP compliant talent acquisition processes.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to identify, define and understand staffing needs.
  • Utilize a mix of targeted, creative sourcing methods.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of candidates, ensuring a consistent pool of talent for current and future openings.
  • Serve as a point of contact for candidates throughout the talent acquisition process.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance recruitment tactics.
  • Attend events targeted at recruiting construction leaders.
  • Operate as a good teammate to fellow adjacent recruiting peers.
  • Lead by example by modeling integrity, grit, empathy, growth, and organization.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a smooth and efficient process from initial contact to offer acceptance.
  • Uphold a positive candidate experience by offering transparent communication, timely updates, and support throughout the hiring process.
  • Collaborate with HR and compliance teams to ensure that all hiring processes and documentation align with OFCCP regulations and guidelines.
  • Leverage data and reporting to monitor recruitment metrics and optimize processes.
  • Other duties as required.

 

Experience: 

  • 5+ years of experience in the telecommunications integrated infrastructure communications systems - engineering & construction industry focused.
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience / associate degree with 8+ years of experience / High School Diploma with 10+ years of experience.
