Position Overview
The Director of Operations will have enterprise-level oversight of the company’s operational departments and will directly manage the leaders of each function. This role partners closely with ownership and executive leadership to translate vision into execution by ensuring all departments operate cohesively, efficiently, and profitably.
Rather than managing day-to-day frontline activities, the Director of Operations will lead through departmental managers—setting expectations, establishing performance standards, and holding leadership accountable for results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and hold departmental managers accountable for performance, culture, and results
• Establish company-wide KPIs, dashboards, and reporting structures across all departments
• Ensure alignment between marketing, sales, production, and customer experience
• Drive operational efficiency, scalability, and margin improvement through process optimization
• Develop and refine SOPs and management systems to support sustainable growth
• Partner with ownership on strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews
• Identify gaps in leadership, processes, or structure and implement corrective action
• Champion a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of senior operations leadership experience managing managers and department heads
• Proven success overseeing multi-department organizations in home services, remodeling, construction, or sales-driven environments
• Strong background in building leadership accountability and performance management systems
• Highly analytical and metrics-driven, with a track record of improving operational outcomes
• Executive presence with exceptional communication and leadership skills
• Experience scaling operations and developing management infrastructure
