LSSI is hiring a full-time Case-Aide Substance Use. . The Case Aide will be responsible for providing support for the professional counseling team in the recovery home program. Schedule:  Monday through Friday, 4PM-12AM.

 Essential Functions:

  • Provide case management for the clients.
  • Responsible for encouraging, monitoring, and maintaining a therapeutic environment.
  • Responsible for outreach to other agencies to increase referrals and engagement from the community.
  • Assess the client’s ability to meet admission criteria and placement.
  • Compete intake packets for admission into program.
  • Schedule intakes and walk-throughs.
  • Conduct weekly discussions with clients regarding program fees.
  • Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity,
    treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations
    and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest, and fair manner.

Position Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Background check clearance required.
  • Annual TB test required.
  • Ability to effectively utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) as it an essential tool to complete clinical documentation and other job functions.
  • Ability to utilize NOWPOW to conduct case management for the clients.
  • Customer Service experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent organization, presentation, and pc/computer skills, including experience using
    Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Work)
  • Valid driver’s license, in good standing for the state of residency preferred.
  • Access to reliable transportation preferred.
  • Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury, and property damage preferred.
