Job Description: 

Summary:

The basic function of this position is to ensure the appropriate staffing throughout the Nursing department, maintaining records of all attendance and providing regular updates to the Clinical Coordinators; Upholds the philosophy, core values and goals of the organization and ensures the Christian Mission of EverTrue is realized so that “Older Adults Live Life to the Fullest”.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Develops work schedules for the Care Center nursing staff (and Personal Care staff, as assigned), ensuring that it remains current by updating the master schedule to reflect any changes needed

2. Maintains and updates employees’ work schedules in the timekeeping system, including the proper coding of employees working additional shifts in additional jobs and/or departments

3. Identifies staffing needs and communicates with nursing employees as needed to fill neighborhood vacancies.

4. Provides information regarding shift and neighborhood assignments to staff and Nursing leadership as instructed 

5. Receives staff call-ins while on duty; Tracks and documents employee attendance, notifying Nursing leadership of any recurring absenteeism/tardiness issues.

6. Prepares reports as requested by Nursing leadership

7. Initiates the payment of “Staffing Bonus” payments

8. May at times be required to remain available on-call for staffing concerns

  • Prior experience in a clerical role. Previous experience in a staffing role strongly preferred.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Ability to provide customer service to internal and external customers.

  • Ability to work under general oversight and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic Excel skills; good keyboard skills.

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general and professional documents.

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

  • Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use

or crawl. Occasional lift, push/pull of up to 10lbs of paper and other supplies.

The employee views a computer screen for long periods of time and uses the telephone

to accomplish much of the work to be done. The work area is well lighted, ventilated and

climate controlled. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

EverTrue Pay & Benefits

Pay grade: 11

Pay range: $20.50/hour to $32.75/hour
