HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: 

  •  

    • Develop, write, and submit high-quality grant proposals and applications in alignment with funder guidelines and organizational priorities. 
    • Research, analyze, and cultivate relationships with grant-making organizations to identify and secure new funding opportunities. 
    • Build and maintain a strong understanding of LCSNW programs and initiatives to effectively communicate impact and need. 
    • Review and collaborate on project budgets to ensure accurate, compelling presentation to funders. 
    • Manage grant timelines, reporting requirements, and funder communications, including responding to follow-up requests. 
    • Track funding activity and outcomes in donor and grant management systems; prepare regular progress and performance reports. 
    • Collaborate with Advancement and District staff to support agency-wide fundraising goals and foster a positive, professional team environment.

  • 3 years of related experience; grant writing, funding research, compliance, reporting, and nonprofit or housing-related programs  
  • Bachelor’s in related field  
  • No credential is required upon start. Credentials may be required depending on individual program or location requirements. 
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written 
  • Advanced mastery of business applications and productivity suites  
  • Demonstrates resilience, awareness and self-regulation in navigating challenges, conflict and obstacles/barriers. 
  • Thrives in a diverse and multicultural environment; works with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to enhance end-user experiences throughout the service lifecycle 
  • Demonstrates exceptional commitment to serving and advocating for diverse and marginalized populations 
  • Successfully completes tasks in a moderately noisy environment 
  • Interact with others and performs tasks in-person and through the use of technology, with long periods of stationary activity and minimal periods of increased physical activity including and not limited to sitting, standing, walking, writing, and typing. 
  • Works in a variety of settings, including and not limited to LCSNW office locations, partner agency and community-based settings, and faith-based settings such as churches 
  • Meets LCSNW criminal background clearance requirements and other job-relevant clearances as required by the State or program
