About this role

As a Digital Project Manager at Lush, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our digital projects by wearing multiple hats—acting as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, and Delivery Lead. Your role will not only focus on collaboration and the management of digital projects but also on the ability to critically analyze business requirements and opportunities, ensuring solutions are delivered efficiently and effectively.


You will be responsible for investigating project needs, gathering requirements, and analyzing data to inform decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and stakeholders, to ensure seamless project execution. In addition, you will play an essential role in growing talent within the business by sharing best practices and fostering an environment of continuous improvement.


The successful candidate will excel at managing multiple projects simultaneously, developing strategies to address challenges, and ensuring that deliverables are met within agreed timelines. You will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to adapt to evolving business needs, and a focus on delivering value to both internal teams and end-users.


Reporting to the Head of North American Digital Operations & Working Closely with the Business Analyst, and Global Engineering Manager & Team, the Digital PM undertakes the following RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Serve as the project lead, handling the end-to-end delivery of digital projects, including content development, campaigns, and collateral, for web and mobile platforms.

  • Investigate and analyze project requirements, gathering insights to align business objectives with development needs.

  • Collaborate with designers, developers, stakeholders, and other departments to translate business goals into actionable project plans.

  • Manage the Agile development process, ensuring scheduling, workflow, and communication between all involved parties are efficient and aligned with project goals.

  • Analyze and address potential risks, technical complexities, and challenges, proposing solutions to keep projects on track.

  • Proactively track, manage, and resolve bugs, issues, and other project impediments, ensuring the quality and timely delivery of each project phase.

  • Regularly update and maintain project documentation, including Basecamp, Gantt charts, specifications, status reports, change requests, and other project-related materials.

  • Ensure that external resources and deliverables are provided to the development team according to agreed schedules, liaising with creative and technical departments.

  • Manage third-party relationships and contractors when required, ensuring that external resources complement internal capabilities.

  • Act as a Business Analyst, researching and presenting opportunities for business growth, optimizing workflows, and improving project outcomes.

  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to keep everyone aligned and informed.

  • Support digital strategy development and ensure alignment with broader business goals.


You bring the following QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring all deadlines and quality benchmarks are met.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and changing priorities.

  • Experience with Agile development processes and project management tools (e.g., Basecamp, Jira, Gantt charts).

  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to gather, interpret, and apply data to inform business decisions.

  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills to work with various departments and stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage technical complexities and risks, ensuring clear pathways to project delivery.

  • Experience working with designers, developers, marketers, and other cross-functional teams.

  • A passion for continuous improvement, contributing to the growth and development of team members and processes.


Required:



  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in e-commerce, digital IT tech or similar, including business analyst experience.

  • Minimum 2 years project management experience with an emphasis on web/app projects

  • Proven experience working with Agile Development Teams

  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies

  • Impeccable attention to detail

  • Self-motivated and proactive

  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal

  • Passion for quality, on-time delivery

  • Strong understanding of Lush, e-commerce and retail environment in general

Job Type: Full-time contract role - 18 months.

Work Type: Hybrid role. Must be able to go into the office 1-2 days/week


Location: Successful candidate must be located in or around the Toronto, Ontario area.


Travel Requirement: Potential travel to the UK, 1-2 times annually.

This salary range is based on an assessment of the local market and may vary depending on the successful candidate's location. This range is based on base salary and does not include additional bonus program and total rewards eligibility.

$86,000$93,000 CAD
