About the Role  
We are seeking an organized, empathetic, Bilingual in Spanish, Care Coordinator to serve as the primary point of contact for patients enrolled in our virtual obesity care programs. This role ensures smooth operations, excellent patient experiences, and efficient care delivery. Responsibilities include scheduling, pre‑authorizations, insurance verification, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. This is a non‑clinical position.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for patients, providing clear, supportive communication
• Manage scheduling, appointment confirmations, and follow‑up outreach
• Assist with pre‑authorizations and insurance verification to prevent care delays
• Support daily clinical operations, including documentation and record‑keeping
• Engage patients proactively to encourage adherence to care plans
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain confidentiality standards

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare coordination, administration, or patient support (required)
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Telehealth experience and familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid populations (preferred)
• Proficiency with scheduling tools, telehealth platforms, EHR systems, and Google Workspace
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Reliable internet connection and a HIPAA‑compliant private workspace
