About this role
Position Objective
To inventory, store and distribute clean linen to designated areas. To support a high standard of patient care throughout the facility by providing the best customer service.
Essential Job Duties:

- Receives clean linen deliveries daily, distribute to designated areas, and stored per establish standards.
- Maintains the assigned par levels of linen in stock room and in designated daily used areas. Notify supervisor of needed linen items, discrepancies in linen deliveries.
- Removes soiled, stained and damage linen from circulation for repairs, rewash or discarding.
- Maintains work areas and equipment in a clean and presentable according to established guidelines and in accordance with Joint Commission standards.
Educational/Experience Requirements:
- Ability to read, follow oral and written instructions, count, distinguish linen items and sizes.
- Demonstrates a professional approach towards customer service.

- The Linen Service Attendant is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing clean linen to designated areas within the facility. They also maintain inventory levels and ensure cleanliness of work areas according to established guidelines.
