American Health Imaging is looking for an experienced Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist. You will be responsible for helping all Technologists in the center in areas that allow the Technologist to maintain an on-time schedule and run the diagnostic imaging scanning area in an orderly fashion.
This is a full-time position working Monday-Wednesday 8am-8pm in Lawrenceville, GA
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintaining excellent patient care
- Dressing patients and obtaining medical history
- Starting IVs
- Assisting MRI/CT with the patient flow
- Helping sterilizes equipment and rooms
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Radiology Technology student or 12 months previous experience in diagnostic radiology or other imaging modality nice to have
- Previous experience starting IV's desired
- Knowledge of medical terminology desired

- The Technologist Medical Assistant (Phlebotomist) will assist Technologists in maintaining an on-time schedule and ensuring the diagnostic imaging area runs smoothly. Responsibilities include patient care, dressing patients, obtaining medical history, and assisting with patient flow.
