About this role
Job Purpose
As a Systems Team Lead, you will lead the solutions engineering team in the Automation Technology Centre (ATC) in Lucy Electric Manufacturing Technologies, Halol (LEMT). You will cover two areas – contract engineering and systems engineering.
Key Accountabilities:
1. To lead a team of engineers to provide pre-contract support to Sales creating cost effective solutions for our range of RTUs – both as standalone systems and integrated in switchgear
2. To lead a team of engineers to provide internally or customer funded RTU solutions post contract
3. To lead a team of engineers to provide pre-contract support to Sales creating cost effective solutions for SCADA/electrical network solutions
4. To lead a team of engineers to provide customer funded SCADA/electrical network solutions post contract
5. Identify new technologies/techniques with potential to enhance products, services, processes, etc.
6. To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required / instructed in order to maintain and / or improve the efficiency, quality and service of the department.
Minimum Qualification, Experience and Skills
Engineering Degree with 8+ years of experience
Functional Competencies
• Knowledge of electrical distribution networks
• Experience of engineering team management

• Version control (design docs, etc)
• Modern embedded electronics systems development
• Knowledge of international standards
• Thorough knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel & Project

• Experience in a range of technologies including digital, analog, and power electronics.
• Knowledge of comms protocols IEC 60870-101/103/104 and DNP 3.0 particularly those used within the sector.
• Knowledge of design tools, CAE/CAD, software dev tools, etc.
