About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and develop modern, cloud-connected applications that power our next generation of smart energy and automation products - including the GridKey, AMM and RTU ranges.
You’ll take ownership of full-stack development across our Blazor/.NET Core web applications, Azure-based services, and MS SQL data layer - helping to shape the architecture, scalability, and reliability of our systems.
Working in a collaborative global team, you’ll play a key role in transforming large volumes of data into actionable insights for our customers, driving energy efficiency and network performance.
What You’ll Do
• Design, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable software using C#, Blazor, ASP.NET Core and Azure.
• Develop intuitive, responsive front-end interfaces using Blazor, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to architect and extend our cloud-based data platform.
• Implement and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with SQL and other database systems.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following SOLID and best-practice design patterns.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural planning.
• Support test planning and validation to ensure robustness and reliability.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
• Contribute to documentation, reusable components, and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
You’re a proactive, hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems and shaping software systems from end to end. You’re comfortable working across both the front and back ends, mentoring others, and influencing architectural decisions.
What You’ll Bring
Essential skills and experience:
• Strong experience with C#, .NET Core and Blazor.
• Proven track record in web application development with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and modern frameworks.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented design, software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience working with MS SQL Server (or similar relational databases).
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud Services and cloud-native design principles (performance, scalability, security).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration between distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of TDD and software quality practices.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Desirable experience:
• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, and Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).
• Exposure to Azure serverless technologies or Power Apps.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization best practices.
• Experience building reusable Blazor components.
• Exposure to mobile app development.
Qualifications
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
