Job Purpose:
A Plant Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and equipment within a plant. This role involves performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and repairing components to minimize downtime and ensure a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on plant equipment to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Equipment Operation: Ensure the proper operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety standards and regulations, including LIMS guidelines,
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance,
Key Accountabilities
Machinery, Equipment & Utilities Repairs and Maintenance
TRUMPF Laser / Punching / Bending Machine Maintenance CNC maintenance.
PLC Based systems, VFDS/ C02 / Stud welding Machines.
Powder Paint Plant, Shot Blast machine maintenance
Utility Maintenance — Compressor, Electric Stackers, and Highspeed shutters.
Working With Maintenance Team to perform all departmental related activities on day-to-day basis
Projects — Continuous improvements, Modifications
Machinery and Equipment Service and Maintenance
Attending Breakdown calls and periodic Maintenance
Doing Routine Maintenance as scheduled
Maintenance activity job report generation
Service records keeping
Team work in Cost control and continuous improvement activity and implementation
H&S and Environmental related work implementation
Working independently and with Maintenance Team members
Making Effective communication about plant related issues to the Engineers
Coordinating with all departments to carry out day to day shop floor activity
Meeting the departmental KPl's
Maintaining the system in good condition by following the schedules
Effective preventive maintenance to avoid downtime without compromising HSE requirements.
Performance Indicators:
Machine up time team KPI — 98% and above
Zero accidents at work place

Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Minimum Qualification:
Diploma Electrical & Electronics with good working knowledge in sheet metal fabrication machinery,
Minimum Experience:
5-7 years' experience in maintenance department. Preferably in sheet metal manufacturing industry.
Good exposure to industrial maintenance in Gulf region
