Job Purpose:
This Job Position is accountable for Optimizing the end-to-end supply chain while collaborating across functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning
Define, lead and execute supply-chain strategy aligned to business goals
Drive long term planning, forecasting and capacity planning for business growth
Lead end-to-end supply chain transformation, digitalization initiatives and process excellence programs
Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on supply, risk, cost and operational performance
Supplier Management
Oversee creation of sourcing strategies, supplier selection, contracting and performance management
Build and maintain a strong supplier ecosystem
Ensure compliance, governance and risk mitigation in procurement processes
Dealing with technical queries through ECRs/ECNs
Comply with all company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of information relating to the company’s business and staff
Demand planning, forecasting and inventory governance
Lead demand planning, S&OP and forecasting processes
Ensure accurate demand signals to reduce stock-outs, overstock, and working-capital blocks
To maintain material Supply to support LEMT production in Line with MRP with 0 Shortage
Given inventory strategy to achieve optimal turns and service levels
To maintain inventory Levels in line with agreed Budgeted levels and variations in usage
Implement KPIs for forecasting accuracy and demand supply chain priorities
Represent supply chain function in leadership reviews and strategy discussions
Logistics, Warehousing and Distribution
Partner with Operations, Quality, sales, finance and commercial teams
Ensure alignment of supply plans with production, sales targets and financial budgets
Drive clear communication and problem-solving culture
Performance Management and Continuous Improvement]
Define and own KPIs for OTIF, Cost, inventory turns, service levels, supplier performance, productivity, etc.
Lead root-cause analysis, process improvement, automation and digital initiatives
Implement lean, six-sigma and cost optimization projects to improve efficiency and reduce waste
Build resilience plan – supply chain management, alternate sourcing and crisis response
Health & Safety – Adherence to all company H & S policies, procedure, and safer working procedure
Ensure compliance with ISO standards across supply chain processes to maintain quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.”
Team Leadership & Capability Building
Lead and develop a multi-level supply chain team across functions
Build succession pipelines, capability development and performance culture
Foster collaboration, high accountability and strategic thinking
Minimum Qualification and Knowledge:
Full time engineering graduate from an AICTE affiliated university and minimum 10 years post qualification working experience in supply chain, logistics, preferably from switchgear industry.
Team leading experience of 3 to 4 people in manufacturing industry setup for logistics and supply chain department.
