About this role

Job Purpose 

The Internal Sales Support provides sales support and expertise to the sales team, aiding in the promotion and sales of the company's products and solutions. This role involves understanding customer needs, preparing standard proposals, order processing, logistics and ensuring that solutions align with client requirements and company capabilities. 

 

Job Context 

Working within the Sales Department, assist in pre-sales activities, submission of quotation as well as maintaining proper project filing for each project and helping develop solutions tailored to customer needs. 

 

This role requires basic knowledge of the company’s products and a keen ability to communicate complex information effectively to stakeholders. 

 

Job Dimensions 

Reports to: Sales Manager or Sales Director 

Collaborates with: Sales team, customers, suppliers/vendor, office staff, factory, marketing and logistic.

 

Key Accountabilities 
Sales activities: 

  • Assists / supports all sales team members for all day-to-day sales activities 
  • Preparation of quotations and TAF for standard product. 
  • Assists for preparation of tender / prequalification documents for utilities & Technical Submittals when required. 
  • Handing all required documentation for sales 
  • Complete administrative sales tasks ensuring all orders are processed in a timely manner and ensuring commercial aspects are considered. 
  • Arranging shipments to Customers (Logistic) 
  • Sales orders and purchase orders processing 
  • Maintain relationships with customers and distributors. 
  • Follow up on payment collection from customer based on SOA 

 Processing activities: 

  • Issue order acknowledgements to external customer 
  • Issues purchase order to internal customers (vendor) 
  • Handling repeated enquiries (standard product) 
  • Inspect goods upon arriving at customer’s warehouse based on request. 
  • Update sales tracking by monthly basis for Group sales meeting 
  • Ensure proper planning for goods delivery to achieve monthly sales target. 

 Marketing activities: 

  • Supporting the Manager with the delivery of global and local marketing campaigns 
  • Assists Manager for Exhibit participation 

 

Qualifications, Experience & Skills 

  • Min. Diploma qualification and above or Relevant industry experience. 
  • 2 years minimum experience on manufacturing business 

 

Job-Specific Skills: 

  • Fluency in English 
  • Excellent communication skills for follow ups with clients 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM and ERP systems. 
  • Basic understanding and applications related to the company’s products (e.g., medium voltage equipment, switchgear).
