Job Purpose
This position will be responsible managing the procurement of goods and services to ensure the on-going operations at Lawson Lucy India Pvt. Ltd.
Job Context
The incumbent will lead supplier identification, import planning, Purchase order placement to vendors/suppliers and will ensure material delivery. Incumbent will support NPD programme by tracking tool development at suppliers and maintain optimal Inventory level.
Job Dimensions
This position will report into Operations Manager Lawson Lucy India Pvt Ltd and will be based at Kotambi Taluka - Waghodiya, Vadodara, Gujarat.
Key Accountabilities
Placing POs on suppliers
Planning of material as per order input
Managing existing and potential suppliers and develop the new supplier
Align the material availability with the sales plan.
Reviewing on-going performance of suppliers and creating action plans to ensure optimum inventory for better cash flow.
Placing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of parts thus avoiding production stoppages and leading to higher OTIF (On-time in full)
Measuring supplier's efficiency and preparation of status reports for weekly parts review.
Identify risks within the supply chain process and create mitigation plans to reduce these risks.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- Diploma/B Tech in Electrical/ Mechanical with minimum 4+ years’ experience in Supply chain in Fuses/similar industry
- Knowledge on inventory management
- Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen activities
- Proficient in MS office usage
Experience in D365 or similar
