Job Description:

Team Leader – Sales Order Management

We are looking for a dynamic and inclusive Team Leader to join our team in Manila. As a Team Leader, you will lead a team of approximately 10-12 staff, taking charge of order preparation, order management, and billing or order fulfillment for a designated group of segment customers within the Customer Operations - OTC function. This role requires flexible timings to better support our teams and stakeholders. Reporting to one of the managers within the Customer Operations-OTC Ops Center.

What the Role Involves:

Leading the Order Management team or Order Fulfillment team in close partnership with the Regional teams. Collaborating with knowledge specialists to ensure that team members have the appropriate training and information to perform to required standards. Managing customer queries and communication in a professional and service-minded manner, ensuring that resolution is provided even if not directly within the brief.

Ensuring that customer requirements are met by managing team meetings, discharging actions in a timely manner, and following up as appropriate. Keeping others informed of all matters affecting their customers is crucial. Fostering a continuous improvement mindset to enhance processes, systems, and tools, including partnering with support functions to remove obstacles. Implementing effective performance and feedback mechanisms, continually tracking and improving performance across the team. Escalating critical delays to internal groups and any issues to management as appropriate, ensuring that agreed volume, service, and quality targets are met.

Working with Senior and Process/Compliance teams to ensure that team members have the appropriate training and information to perform to required standards. Managing, mentoring, coaching, and providing performance management for team members, effectively resolving order processing and quality-related issues on a timely basis to avoid larger impacts.

Scope and Impact:

Leading a team of 10+ Order Management staff or Order Fulfillment staff, including Knowledge Specialists. Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders in GTM, Finance, Credit Management, and others. Taking overall responsibility for the performance and results of direct and indirect reports. Driving or supporting large-scale projects impacting internal teams and external customers. Spending a significant proportion of time managing the team, rather than doing more involved aspects of work done by team members. Balancing team resources to optimize performance and improve employee engagement.

  • University degree and/or professional qualification.

  • Experience in the Order to Cash/Customer Service processes is preferred.
  • Understanding of order management and billing processes.
  • Solid understanding of relevant markets, customers, and products.
