Job Overview:                                                                                              

As a Senior Instructional Designer & Learning Program Manager, you will be the architect and driver of standardized, high-impact training environments for Assima. You will act as the central program manager, ensuring cohesive learning experiences across multiple affiliations. Your expertise will bridge strategic vision with hands-on design, utilizing advanced tools and methodologies to develop scalable, efficient, and engaging learning solutions that drive adoption and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management & Strategy: Act as the primary program manager for Assima training initiatives, overseeing the end-to-end learning ecosystem. Develop and execute a unified instructional strategy that serves diverse affiliate audiences.

  • Instructional Design & Development: Lead the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) of advanced learning programs. Create solutions ranging from microlearning and video tutorials to comprehensive e-learning courses and virtual instructor-led training (VILT).

  • Content Creation & Tool Mastery: Develop dynamic training content utilizing a suite of modern tools, including:

  • Articulate 360 Suite (Storyline, Rise)

  • Camtasia for video production and editing

  • Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) for documentation and presentation

  • Canva for visual design assets

  • AI-Enhanced Tools (e.g., for content scripting, image generation, or efficiency gains)

  • Collaboration & Consultation: Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs), technology teams, and business leaders across affiliations to identify needs, gather content, and ensure learning solutions are accurate, relevant, and aligned to business goals.

  • Standards & Governance: Establish and maintain instructional design standards, templates, and brand guidelines for all Assima training deliverables to ensure consistency and quality.

  •  Innovation & Improvement: Champion the adoption of new learning technologies and methodologies. Continuously evaluate program effectiveness using metrics and feedback to iterate and improve.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Adult Learning, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in instructional design and learning program development in a corporate setting.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of proven, hands-on experience designing and developing learning solutions with the Articulate 360 suite (Storyline, Rise) is required.

Core Competencies:

  • Demonstrated expertise in using Camtasia and the Microsoft Office suite for content creation.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing skills in e-learning development, video production, and visual design.

  • Experience managing the full lifecycle of learning projects, from needs analysis to rollout and measurement.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.

  • Ability to simplify complex technical or operational information into engaging, user-centric training

Preferences:

  • Experience in Financial Services; securities licenses (e.g., Series 7, 66, 99) are a significant plus.

  • Formal certification in instructional design, project management (PMP), or educational technology.

  • Proven experience designing training for multiple, distinct user groups or affiliate networks.

  • Hands-on experience leveraging artificial intelligence tools to augment the design and development process.


     

    Pay Range:

    $71,070-$118,450/year


     

    Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
