- Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology, and oncology services.
Responsibilities
- Performs technical and patient care functions during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiovascular and Electrophysiology labs.
- Monitors and maintains equipment.
- May serve in the role of charge or lead. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Associate degree in either nursing or radiology, or a graduate of an allied health accredited program, including EMTs, Paramedics, or Respiratory Therapists.
- computer knowledge; knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- ACLS
- Radiologic Technologist Certificate (RT), EMT, Paramedic, or Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Radiology Tech or EMT-Paramedic.
- One (1) year of previous job-related experience. Clinical educational experience may be substituted for work experience.
- Advanced credentialing in cardiovascular and electrophysiology is strongly recommended. RCIS, RCES, RCVT, ARRT(RT(R)), CV, CI
