The College of Engineering and Science (COES) at Louisiana Tech University invites applications for a Lecturer position in Instrumentation and Control-systems Engineering Technology (ICET), with an anticipated start date of September 2026. The Lecturer position at Louisiana Tech includes a promotion pathway based on performance and contribution, allowing advancement from Lecturer to Senior Lecturer and Distinguished Lecturer.

The College’s vision is for Louisiana Tech to become a destination University for Engineering and Science education due to its dynamic and supportive educational experience, while being a major engine of innovation and intellectualism that uplifts the region. As such, the COES is home to the Integrated STEM Education Research Center (ISERC) and is an active member of the Kern Entrepreneurial Engineering Network (KEEN). Qualifications:

● A Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline with significant overlap.

● Demonstrated potential for excellence in undergraduate education, including classroom teaching, laboratory instruction, and student mentoring.

● Substantial Teaching experience in engineering or engineering technology is preferred.

● The ability to deliver existing courses and to develop new curricular content in response to emerging industry and program needs.
