An Information Technology Analyst 1 provides general user and technical support in the areas of lab and classroom technologies, Help Desk duties in the support of students, faculty, and staff.
Job Responsibilities:
50% Perform Help Desk duties for campus community including recording service calls, maintenance activities, user support, equipment inventory, and trouble reports.
40% Assist in the preparation, installation, and maintenance of technology resources including computers, printers, projectors, network components, wiring, etc for campus labs, faculty, and staff equipment.
10% Other duties or projects as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in related field of study from a regionally accredited academic institution.
Experience Substitute: High School Diploma/GED + 2 years of applicable full time (35+ hours per week), paid experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working in an IT support role/setting.
Special and/or Physical Qualifications:
Position is subject to an office environment and must be able to operate a computer, telephone, and other office machinery, remain seated for extended periods of time, bend, squat, twist, and move about to accomplish tasks, ability to receive and exchange detailed information through oral and written communication, make substantial movements of the wrists, hands, or fingers. Position is subject to on-call, night, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.
Salary Range: $35,000.00-$38,000.00
