This position is located in Visp, Switzerland. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed. 

Join Lonza in Visp as a Distribution Planner, where you will ensure efficient, timely, and compliant outbound material shipments for assigned customers and programs. In this role, you will lead shipment planning, maintain shipment agreements, coordinate with key stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that support reliable delivery of life‑changing products.

What you will do:

  • Promote Lonza’s culture and ensure full compliance with regulations and internal procedures.

  • Create, maintain, and update Shipment Agreements in alignment with customer and internal requirements.

  • Coordinate outbound shipment planning and destruction in specific case, ensure accurate documentation and data readiness.

  • Engage proactively with stakeholders to secure on‑time, in‑full (OTIF) deliveries.

  • Verify material readiness, including availability, specifications, and quality release.

  • Track, analyze, and report shipment KPIs, escalating risks and delays when needed.

  • Support process improvements, standardization efforts, and compliant documentation aligned with cGMP and ISO 9001

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Experience in distribution planning, logistics coordination, or supply chain operations (experience within a GMP environment is a strong advantage).

  • Understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain processes, shipment planning, and documentation requirements.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • High attention to detail with a proactive and solution‑oriented mindset.

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an asset.

  • Business‑fluent English; German is a plus.
