That work helped earn Loka global recognition, and it’s why events remain one of our most important growth levers.</p> <p>That’s the broad pitch. Now let’s talk about you.</p> <p>As the CMO at Loka, I’m looking for a <strong>Temporary Events Coordinator</strong> to step in during a maternity leave and help keep this engine running smoothly. This role is fully focused on events, end to end. From kickoff to follow-up. From booking venues and managing vendors to coordinating internal teams, purchasing swag, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.</p> <p><strong>I’m looking for someone who is passionate about organization</strong>, thrives in motion, and is a world-class communicator. The kind of person who can confidently manage multiple events at once while keeping both internal and external partners aligned, informed, and energized.</p> <p>This is a 7–9 month role designed to cover a critical period for our events program. While there may be an opportunity to continue beyond that timeframe, we want to be clear and respectful up front: this role is first and foremost about stepping in, owning execution, and making an immediate impact.</p> <p><strong>If you’re nodding along enthusiastically, submit a resume so we can meet 🚀</strong></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><strong>Events Strategy &amp; Execution</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work with CMO and independently to plan, coordinate, and execute Loka-hosted and partner-led events (virtual, hybrid, and in-person)</li> <li>Own event logistics end-to-end: timelines, vendors, venues, travel, materials, run-of-show, and follow-ups</li> <li>Partner closely with AWS stakeholders, internal sales, and marketing teams to ensure events align with GTM priorities</li> <li>Support executive-level events, including private dinners, roundtables, and invite-only experiences</li> </ul> <p><strong>Operations &amp; Coordination</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage the events calendar and keep timelines, owners, and dependencies clearly tracked</li> <li>Track event costs and work closely with finance to ensure event success and ROI</li> <li>Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, sales, leadership) and AWS to ensure events are well-supported and on-brand</li> <li>Maintain clean documentation, checklists, and post-event recaps to ensure continuity during the maternity cover</li> <li>Track event performance and outcomes (attendance, leads, follow-ups) and share clear summaries with stakeholders</li> </ul> <p><strong>Regional &amp; Internal Events</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support internal team events and offsites as needed</li> <li>Coordinate with regional partners and vendors across Europe and the U.S.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></h3> <ul> <li>3–5 years of experience in event coordination, field marketing, or marketing operations</li> <li>4 hour overlap with PST time zone at least 3 days a week</li> <li>Proven ability to manage multiple events and timelines simultaneously without details slipping</li> <li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills</li> <li>Comfort working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and executives</li> <li>Experience working with tools like Notion, Google Sheets, HubSpot, or similar</li> <li>Experience with B2B, SaaS, or partner-led events (especially with large ecosystems like AWS) is a strong plus</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What This Role Is (and Isn’t)</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Is:</strong> A hands-on, execution-focused events role with real ownership</li> <li><strong>Is:</strong> A critical role during a key transition period</li> <li><strong>Isn’t:</strong> A generalist marketing role or content-focused position</li> <li><strong>Isn’t:</strong> Guaranteed to convert to a permanent role, though strong performance may lead to full-time role</li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits</strong></p> <ul> <li>Every other Friday off (26 extra days off a year)</li> <li>Remote-first culture</li> <li>Paid sick days and local holidays</li> <li>Business English classes program</li> <li>Continuous Learning Support</li> <li>Fitness and/or Mental Health Subscriptions</li> <li>Access to LokaLabs™, our internal research and development program</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><strong><span class="notion-enable-hover" data-token-index="0">Please submit your CV in English.</span></strong></p>
