Responsibilities

We’re hiring a Software QA Tester to support our core development team by running manual tests, validating features, and creating clear, reusable test cases. You’ll work alongside developers, product owners, and UX designers to ensure every release meets functional expectations, handles edge cases, and works in the real world.

 

This role is about hands-on testing, clear documentation, and a relentless focus on finding issues before users do.

 

What You'll Do

  • Review user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature specs to create detailed test cases.
  • Execute functional, regression, end to end, and exploratory tests across our web and mobile applications.
  • Document bugs clearly and concisely using tools like Jira.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.
  • Work closely with engineers to validate fixes and ensure issues are fully resolved.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and field deployment validation when needed.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in software testing.
  • Strong understanding of test planning, test case writing, and bug reporting.
  • Familiarity with basic database queries to validate data integrity.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced Agile teams.
  • Detail-oriented mindset and strong communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance is required.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience testing apps built with .NET, Vue.js, or SQL Server backends.
  • Prior experience supporting government, DoD, or enterprise clients.
  • Exposure to mobile app testing or RFID-related systems.
  • Security+ certification.
