As an Accounts Receivable & Collections Assistant at Locus, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations that power our global growth. In this position, you will ensure accurate invoicing, timely collections, and a positive customer experience. This is an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in accounting and finance while learning from an experienced, highly collaborative team and to take on additional responsibilities as the business continues to scale.</p>

<p><strong>Responsibilities </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Generate and issue accurate customer invoices using billing systems, ensuring timely and compliant billing practices.</li>
<li>Maintain and record new customer contracts, billing terms, and revenue recognition schedules in accordance with company policies.</li>
<li>Prepare and distribute customer account statements, proactively addressing discrepancies and inquiries</li>
<li>Lead collections activities by monitoring aging reports, preparing monthly collections summaries, and partnering closely with Locus’ Sales and Contracts teams to resolve outstanding balances.</li>
<li>Prepare journal entries and provide support for month-end close and reconciliation activities.</li>
<li>Contribute to process improvements and support ad hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives as the business continues to scale.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or Management.</li>
<li>2+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or collections.</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite or Salesforce, preferred).</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and manage tasks in different time zones or without immediate supervision.</li>
<li>Strong ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities independently.</li>
<li>Highly organized with strong attention to detail.</li>
<li>Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.</li>
