Security Analyst, Incident Response, Cyber Security Operations Center  Brampton , ON

As a Senior Security Analyst within our CSOC, you will serve as a primary technical investigator and crisis lead on our cybersecurity team. You will be responsible for triaging, analyzing, and leading the response to sophisticated threats, from initial detection through to complete remediation. This is a hands-on, high-impact role requiring a deep technical understanding of the modern threat landscape, a forensic approach to data analysis, and the ability to drive strategic improvements to our defensive posture.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the technical analysis of high-priority security events, acting as the primary investigator to drive containment, eradication, and recovery.

• Collaborate with IT, Legal, HR, and Privacy teams to ensure technical findings are translated into clear, actionable business responses.

• Conduct deep-dive forensic and log analysis across multiple platforms, mapping adversary behavior to the MITRE ATT&CK framework to identify gaps in existing controls.

• Mature the CSOC program by developing automated SOAR workflows, refining detection logic in the SIEM, and creating robust incident response playbooks

• Maintain detailed forensic timelines and technical post-incident reports to brief leadership and satisfy regulatory requirements.

• Provide technical guidance to colleagues and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to support critical escalations.

What you will bring:

• Proven experience investigating and remediating significant cybersecurity incidents in a large-scale, complex enterprise environment.

• Demonstrated expertise across multiple security domains, specifically Endpoint (EDR/XDR), Network, Cloud (GCP, Azure, OCI), and Identity (IAM).

• Hands-on experience with modern security stacks, including SIEM (Sentinel/Splunk/XSIAM), SOAR (Cortex/Phantom), and Endpoint Protection (XDR/MDE).

• Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to identify Mitre attack patterns and identify anomalous activity.

• The ability to translate complex technical forensic data into concise updates for executive leadership and stakeholders.

• A degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity; relevant certifications such as GCIH, GCFA, GNFA, or CISSP are highly desirable.
