Why this role is important?

We are seeking a perceptive and collaborative Analyst to join our Supply Chain team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will ensure seamless product flow from vendor to store through meticulous analysis, and effective cross-functional partnerships. Your contributions will be vital in optimizing inventory, achieving service levels, and driving sales.

What You Will Do:  

  • Works with Category, Merchandising and DCs to identify the specific events and link accordingly 

  • Manage the end-to-end purchase order lifecycle, from creation to tracking, ensuring timely and accurate product delivery 

    • Contribute data-focused insights and updates to category meetings.  

    • Work with Transportation teams to ensure stock arrives within the required window  

  • Partner with internal and external teams, including Distribution Centre (DC) operations, to coordinate goods flow and resolve inbound/outbound issues.  

    • Monitors import shipment status and event tracking reports to liaise between Category Management, Global Procurement, DC’s and vendors and ensure products are received in time for event releases.  

    • Reviews event tracking daily to track and monitor DC Operations  

    • Reviews events and orders for new or closing stores with Operations and Retail Concepts to ensure stock is transferred and cancelled accordingly.  

    • Ensures DCs have no residual inventory at end of each season/program, as well maintaining a pick accuracy of 99.8%,

  • Contribute data-focused insights and updates to category meetings.  

  • Ensure accuracy and meticulous maintenance of all product, and vendor attribute data.  

  • Reviews, enters, and prepares invoices for payment; customs & duty; submitting invoices to accounting for payment.  

  • Identify and drive process improvement initiatives and special projects to enhance efficiency and KPIs.  

  • Analyze ocean freight lead-times and trends to inform purchasing strategies and mitigate risks.  

  • Serve as a key resource for special projects relevant to the Replenishment team.  

What You Will Bring:  

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.  

  • 2-3 years of experience in the retail industry.  

  • Strong operational understanding of supply chain principles

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.  

  • Collaborative mindset with strong verbal and written communication skills.  

  • Knowledge of supply chain software and systems and logistical procedures such as international transport, purchasing, procurement, distribution, custom clearance, and shipping.

  • Strong verbal and written communication required for one-on-one and/or group situations, in person or virtual meetings

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL. Python is an asset.  

  • Previous experience with supply chain systems such as SAP, ERP, WMS, is beneficial.  

  • Flexibility to work weekends on a rotational basis is required
