About this role
Our client, a leading investor in leisure hotels across Southern Europe, is seeking an Accountant to join their Finance Team. The ideal candidate has a solid accounting background gained in a structured, multinational or large corporate environment and is looking to further develop within an international finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Post and process accounting entries and support all general ledger activities.
- Perform supplier reconciliations and monitor outstanding balances.
- Handle and reconcile banking transactions (bank reconciliations).
- Manage supplier payments.
- Support compliance with tax obligations (Payroll tax, VAT, and other periodic filings).
- Maintain and update records through the myDATA platform.
- Utilize SAP for all relevant accounting operations.
- Prepare and deliver reporting to the Senior Accountant.
- 6–7 years of professional experience within a multinational environment, audit firm, or large organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in SAP (must-have).
- Excellent command of the English language (written & spoken).
- Solid understanding of general accounting principles and processes.
- Experience with bank reconciliations, supplier processes, and tax obligations.
- Familiarity with myDATA.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a structured environment.
