Position Summary ​

The HR Regional Manager (Mexico) leads and develops the on‑site HR teams at LSMX’s Monterrey and Tijuana facilities. This role serves as a strategic HR business partner to local leadership, ensures consistent, compliant HR operations across both sites, and acts as the primary HR liaison for the Prodesma partnership—governing service levels, compliance, and continuous improvement. Will balance hands‑on HR execution with regional strategy, building a high‑trust, high‑performance culture that reflects LSMX values.

Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Provide leadership and guidance to HR team members at Monterrey and Tijuana, ensuring alignment with Prodesma processes and supporting team development, goal setting, and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with site leadership and Prodesma to translate business objectives into actionable people strategies, including workforce planning, capability building, and cultural initiatives; monitor progress through defined KPIs.
  • Ensure standardized HR practices and documentation across both facilities in coordination with Prodesma, delivering consistent team member experience and adherence to policy.
  • Oversee complex team member relations cases in partnership with Prodesma, ensuring investigations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution are handled fairly and in compliance with local regulations.
  • Manage compliance oversight by working with Prodesma to maintain adherence to Mexican labor laws (LFT), STPS/NOMs, IMSS, INFONAVIT, SAT, and local/state requirements; lead audit preparation and support inspections.
  • Verify accurate administration of statutory programs (e.g., PTU profit sharing), employment contracts, terminations, and severance through Prodesma; conduct regular audits for accuracy and compliance.
  • Act as primary HR liaison for Prodesma, defining and managing SLAs, KPIs, and escalation paths; lead operational reviews on fill rates, time‑to‑hire, retention, and compliance, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement plans.
  • Partner with Prodesma on talent acquisition and onboarding, ensuring recruiting pipelines, candidate experience, and start‑date readiness meet LSMX standards.
  • Monitor key workforce metrics such as time‑to‑hire, offer acceptance, first‑year retention, and probationary outcomes; collaborate with Prodesma to drive improvements.
  • Facilitate engagement initiatives and action planning from survey results in partnership with Prodesma; track engagement scores and ensure completion of improvement plans.
  • Support change management efforts for new processes, systems, or organizational shifts, ensuring effective communication between LSMX, Prodesma, and site teams.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability within HR and across the Prodesma partnership, promoting continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • On‑site presence at both facilities, with time in production/warehouse areas as needed. Ability to navigate multi‑shift operations.
  • Regular travel between Monterrey and Tijuana

Qualifications

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent from a four-year college in business, administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including 3+ years leading HR teams or multi-site operations. Strong background in manufacturing, logistics environment strongly preferred.  Familiarity with project-based workflows, KPI analysis, and cross-functional collaboration within manufacturing teams preferred. Demonstrated expertise with Mexican labor law (LFT), STPS/NOMs, IMSS, INFONAVIT, SAT, and PTU administration. Proven experience managing third‑party staffing/vendor relationships (e.g., Prodesma) with measurable outcomes. Strong ER investigation skills; sound judgment; high integrity and discretion. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, and Word.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will help to oversee the onsite HR team working with  Prodesma on all matters relating to the staff. Develop and execute the company’s business strategies in order to attain the goals of the board and shareholders. Provide strategic advice so direct reports will have accurate view of the market and the company’s future. Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate. Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the company and that they are followed at all times. Communicate and maintain trust relationships with shareholders, business partners, and authorities. Able to delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of direct reports providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance.

Position Hiring Range

The hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire.  Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.  Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this page at any time. 

Compensation: $80,300.00 - $107,000.00

Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members.  Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy. Retail, Guest Services and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
