At Suburban Mazda of Farmington Hills, we're looking for a Used Car Automotive Service Technician to join our fast-paced, customer-focused service team. Helping satisfied customers drive away with confidence is what we do best — and we’d love to have you on board.
What You’ll Do
As a Used Car Tech, you’ll be responsible for performing inspections, diagnostics, and repairs efficiently and accurately, ensuring every pre-owned vehicle meets our quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
Accurately diagnose and repair pre-owned vehicles per manufacturer and dealership standards
Perform inspections and safety checks on incoming used inventory
Road-test vehicles to verify repairs
Document work performed and maintain proper records
Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Maintain your own set of basic automotive tools
What We’re Looking For
Prior automotive repair experience (used/pre-owned vehicle experience is a plus!)
ASE or manufacturer certifications preferred, but not required
Team players with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent (must be 18+)
