<p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p>
<p>Our client’s Adult Social Care service is focused on supporting people to live independent, fulfilling lives within their local communities. As part of ongoing service development, a new Learning Disability Team has been established to improve outcomes for adults with a Learning Disability across Oxfordshire.</p>

<p>The service works closely with health partners, including local Learning Disability health teams, as well as voluntary and community sector organisations.</p>
<p><strong>What will your responsibilities be?<br><br></strong>You will be a motivated and compassionate Social Worker who is committed to improving the lives of adults with a Learning Disability.<br>You will bring:<br>• A recognised Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration.<br>• A strengths‑based mindset and commitment to person‑centred practice.<br>• Knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and relevant safeguarding legislation.<br>• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.<br>• Confidence in multi‑agency working and relationship building.<br>• The ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise effectively.<br>• Resilience, adaptability and the ability to make defensible professional decisions.<br>• Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusive practice.</p>
<p><strong>Desirable experience includes:<br></strong><br>• Working with adults with a Learning Disability<br>• Conducting safeguarding enquiries<br>• Strengths‑based assessments<br>• Post‑qualifying training (e.g., BIA, AMHP, Practice Educator)</p>

<p><strong>Qualifications & Experience:</strong></p>
<p>To be successful in this role you must have, </p>

<li>Social Work England registration</li>
<li>Eligible to work in the UK</li>
<li>Hold a full UK driving licence</li>
<li>Post-qualified experience</li>
<li>Degree level or equivalent in Social Work</li>
