About the role
We are seeking a Storeperson, to join our team at Lineage in Christchurch.  Ideally this role will suit a professional forklift operator. This is a full-time position responsible for efficiently and accurately storing, retrieving, and distributing goods within our coldstorage operation.  You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and timely flow of goods through our facility.

What you'll be doing

• Receiving, unpacking, and inspecting incoming goods

• Accurately storing items in designated locations using appropriate equipment

• Retrieving and preparing items for dispatch, ensuring orders are fulfilled correctly

• Operating forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and hazard-free work environment

• Assisting with stock takes and inventory management as required

• Following all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols

What we're looking for

• A skilled forklift operator with a forklift licence (would be a huge advanage)

• Previous experience as a Storeperson or in a similar warehousing role

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Physical fitness to perform the required manual handling tasks

• Commitment to workplace health and safety
