Scope

Responsible for supporting the Production, Maintenance, and Engineering teams by performing tasks such as troubleshooting, repairs, wiring, and panel assembly.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety, product quality, and productivity in the performance of the job.
  • Provide technical support and work independently to solve problems, debug, train, and maintain systems.
  • Industrial troubleshooting in electrical and robotics systems.
  • Capable of using industrial tools to make adjustments to tooling and sensors.
  • Provide feedback to Engineering, Maintenance and Production teams to continuously improve equipment
  • Understanding Industrial Networking
  • Fabrication of cable assemblies and control enclosures.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance teams to develop Preventative Maintenance Schedules
  • Ability to analyses data to address reoccurring issues and to drive improvements
  • Understand the national electrical standards
  • Obey all safety rules, maintain cleanliness of the word area, and perform other duties as assigned by the Engineering manager.

Educational Requirements

  • Vocational/Educational training in electrical systems, industrial robots, and/or problem solving
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings

Role Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience within the industrial, mechanical or electrical field  (Technician II) OR
  • Minimum of 5 years experience within the industrial, mechanical or electrical field (Technician III)
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Customer Focused - capable of interfacing in a positive manner with all levels of an organization. (Internal & External)
  • PC literate and competent in MS Office applications
  • Work in safe manner always
