Scope
Responsible for supporting the Production, Maintenance, and Engineering teams by performing tasks such as troubleshooting, repairs, wiring, and panel assembly.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safety, product quality, and productivity in the performance of the job.
- Provide technical support and work independently to solve problems, debug, train, and maintain systems.
- Industrial troubleshooting in electrical and robotics systems.
- Capable of using industrial tools to make adjustments to tooling and sensors.
- Provide feedback to Engineering, Maintenance and Production teams to continuously improve equipment
- Understanding Industrial Networking
- Fabrication of cable assemblies and control enclosures.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance teams to develop Preventative Maintenance Schedules
- Ability to analyses data to address reoccurring issues and to drive improvements
- Understand the national electrical standards
- Obey all safety rules, maintain cleanliness of the word area, and perform other duties as assigned by the Engineering manager.
Educational Requirements
- Vocational/Educational training in electrical systems, industrial robots, and/or problem solving
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
Role Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience within the industrial, mechanical or electrical field (Technician II) OR
- Minimum of 5 years experience within the industrial, mechanical or electrical field (Technician III)
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Customer Focused - capable of interfacing in a positive manner with all levels of an organization. (Internal & External)
- PC literate and competent in MS Office applications
- Work in safe manner always
