About this role
- Direct the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems.
- Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventative maintenance programs.
- Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize production disruptions.
- Prepare and manage facility maintenance budget.
- Forecast future plant requirements to support projected production demands.
- Lead, mentor and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and other support staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide training to ensure skill development
- Completion of university degree or college program in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years managerial experience.
- Strong knowledge of machinery, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in maintenance management software and tools.
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and practices
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Capable of working under pressure and handling emergency situations.
