Job Title: Level 4 - Maintenance Multi Skilled
Job Summary:
Perform advanced maintenance and repair services across mechanical, electrical, and facility systems with limited supervision. Interpret blueprints and schematics, applying knowledge of maintenance methods to ensure smooth facility operations.
Responsibility:
Execute regular and predictive maintenance as part of the Preventative Maintenance Program.
Participate in facility repairs across multiple systems.
Use measuring tools, and perform machining, welding, and fabrication as needed.
Interpret mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics to diagnose and resolve malfunctions.
Evaluate equipment conditions and recommend or implement modifications. Equipment includes paint ovens, cranes, and welding machines.
Train apprentices and maintenance laborers, supervise projects, oversee contractor work, and provide leadership in troubleshooting and repairs.
Utilize AutoCAD for adjustments and continuously learn new techniques and technologies.
Work safely at heights.
Obtain required in-house training (forklift, crane, mobile elevating work platform, lockout/tagout).
Perform other duties as assigned.
Academic/Educational Requirements:
Technical school training and completion of an apprenticeship program.
Licensed as an Industrial Mechanical Millwright (443A).
Licensed electrician (309A or 442A).
Required Skills/Experience:
2-4 years of skilled maintenance experience, including electrical and pneumatic repairs.
Proficient in using measuring tools and machining equipment.
Advanced welding and fabrication skills.
Ability to read and understand relevant codes and regulations.
Experience with ABB robotics and Allen Bradley systems is an asset.
Strong communication, supervisory, and project management skills.
