We are seeking a highly motivated, forward-thinking, and detail-oriented Senior Manager / Associate Director, Business Systems to join our growing Business Systems team. In this expanded role, you will not only support the Director of Business Systems but also provide thought leadership in emerging technologies—especially AI and automation—to help transform how our internal systems operate.


You will drive the optimization of enterprise applications, champion AI-enabled solutions, and guide cross-functional teams in adopting modern, scalable, and intelligent business processes. This role is ideal for someone who excels at problem-solving, systems thinking, and strategic innovation, and who enjoys leading initiatives that improve efficiency, data quality, and decision-making across the organization.


What You'll Be Building


Strategic & Thought Leadership



  • Serve as a thought leader for integrating AI, automation, and intelligent workflow tooling across business systems.

  • Identify opportunities to modernize and streamline business processes through AI, machine learning, and data-driven insights.

  • Advise leadership on emerging trends in enterprise applications, AI-assisted productivity, and digital transformation.

  • Lead discussions, workshops, and documentation that articulate the value and feasibility of AI-driven enhancements.


Business Analysis & System Optimization



  • Partner with stakeholders to analyze business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and design scalable system solutions.

  • Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable system requirements and functional specifications.

  • Collaborate with engineering, data, and product teams to architect and prioritize enhancements aligned with strategic goals.


AI-Enabled Application Development



  • Support the design and deployment of AI-enabled applications, including workflow automation, intelligent data routing, and predictive insights.

  • Partner with technical teams to evaluate AI tools, platforms, and vendors to support system optimization.

  • Define use cases, acceptance criteria, and testing strategies for AI-enhanced features and automation flows.


Support & Vendor Management



  • Provide user support for enhancement projects, intake requests, and system-related issues with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Oversee vendor relationships, including communication, performance tracking, escalations, and evaluation of new technology partners.


Documentation, Compliance & Performance



  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, integrations, workflows, AI models, and compliance/audit requirements.

  • Monitor system performance, stability, and reliability across internal applications.

  • Ensure that changes—especially automation and AI-driven updates—are implemented securely and responsibly.


What You’ll Need to Succeed



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.

  • Strong analytical, process-mapping, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

  • Experience coordinating system testing and supporting application rollouts.

  • Familiarity with vendor management processes and tools.

  • Demonstrated ability to gather, interpret, and communicate technical requirements.


Bonus Points For



  • Hands-on experience with AI-enabled tools, automation platforms, or LLM-based systems.

  • Experience working with enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS, financial or operational systems).

  • Strong understanding of compliance, documentation, and change-management processes.

  • Ability to provide strategic guidance and thought leadership in systems modernization, digital transformation, or AI adoption.

  • Strong project management skills, including prioritization, risk management, and stakeholder alignment.

Compensation


We expect the base salary for this role to fall between $140,000–$197,333 USD per year, along with bonus potential and generous early equity. The final offer will reflect your unique background, expertise, and impact.
