Our practice specializes in dental implants, wisdom teeth extractions, complex tooth extractions, and IV sedation, among other procedures. Responsibilities:
- Chairside Assistance: Support the dentist during procedures, managing instruments, suctioning, and ensuring patient comfort.
- Patient Care: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized environment.
- X-Ray Imaging: Capture dental X-rays, adhering to safety protocols.
- Patient Education: Guide patients on oral hygiene, post-op care, and treatment options.
- Records Management: Accurately update patient records and dental charts in EHR systems.
- Infection Control: Strictly follow sterilization and disinfection protocols.
- Appointment Scheduling: Help manage and confirm patient appointments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and support.
Qualifications:
- Must have current CPR Certification
- Must have Coronal Polishing Certification
- X-ray certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in dental procedures and instrument handling.
- Thorough understanding of infection control protocols and OSHA standards.
- A compassionate approach to patient care and comfort.

What you'll do
- The Dental Assistant II will support the dentist during procedures and manage patient care by preparing treatment rooms and maintaining a clean environment. They will also capture dental X-rays, educate patients on oral hygiene, and manage patient records.
