Position Summary

The person in this position will be responsible for implementing system test strategies, troubleshooting hardware and support, and creating documentation. Additionally, this role will be validating performance and functionality of electrical systems and hardware test suite related to LnW product lines.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Writes, reviews, interprets, and executes electrical test requirements and specifications.

  • Develops functional test kits for hardware assemblies to be used by vendors 

  • Troubleshoot designs using test equipment and proper analysis techniques

  • Creates comprehensive and clear documentation of test procedures and technical reports

  • Summarizes, analyzes and presents testing results in a clear and concise manner.

  • Answers technical questions, serving as an information resource, or refers questions to the appropriate person.

  • Assumes responsibility for the accuracy of work processes and flow of multiple tasks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or significant equivalent experience

  • Experience in design, analysis, and manufacturing engineering processes of electrical assemblies

  • Experience with either software engineering/embedded software/computer/electrical engineer experience with software exposure

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of electrical engineering theory, principles and procedures

  • Must be competent with modern testing equipment, e.g. oscilloscopes, digital analyzers, multi-meters, function generators, and spectrum analyzers

  • Ability to troubleshoot with minimal guidance

  • Initiative and responsibility for individual performance

  • Effectively manages time in order to perform multiple tasks.

  • Assesses multiple demands, competing priorities and identifies necessary resources to handle critical work demands.

  • Meet quick deadlines and deliver precise, effective results in a fast-paced work environment

  • Excellent documentation skills

  • Follows directions according to protocols and methods

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Work Conditions:
