How you'll contribute 

Manages the daily operations of the assigned department or function to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives. Develops and provides services related to the orientation, continuing education, assessment of clinical staff and schedules.  Responsible for verification of time sheets.  Participates in performance improvement, quality assurance and departmental meetings.

What we are looking for:

 

Current Registered Nurse Licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky or a current Registered Nurse Licensure with a multistate compact status.

At least two (2) years of experience to practice in the state of Kentucky or a current Registered Nurse Licensure with a multistate compact status.

 

Certifications

Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 90 days after hire date

Current American Heart Association ACLS certification or obtain within 6 months after hire date

Current American Heart Association PALS certification or obtain within 6 months after hire date

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision, Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Language skills:  Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
