This is a hybrid position (4 days per week in office from 1 of our office locations below and 1 day remote).


This opportunity can be based out of either Office Location below:

Brampton location @ 1 Presidents Choice Cir, Brampton, ON L6Y 5S5 (near hwy. 407 and Mississauga Rd)

North York location @ 243 Consumers Rd, North York, ON M2J 4W8 (near hwy. 404 and hwy. 401)



Lifemark Health Group is seeking an enthusiastic Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our dynamic Application Services Team for 12-month contract position. This position reports to the Business Systems Analyst Manager and works closely with the business stakeholders, external partners, and internal IT team to identify business needs, define system requirements, and implement solutions that align with the business strategic initiatives.

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for managing applications & projects using waterfall and agile delivery approaches to meet the business needs, expectations and ensure delivery of valuable products/features to the business.


Your Key Accountabilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, estimate resources, evaluate solutions, manage dependencies, track progress, and adapt plans to ensure timely delivery aligned with business goals.
  • Requirements Gathering & Business Analysis: Lead requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and validation to translate business needs into actionable system specifications and support project planning.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare and maintain project documentation, deliver regular progress reports, and coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to facilitate effective integration and implementation activities.
  • Implementation: Document features and user stories with clear acceptance, ensure the tasks are aligned with the project requirements; drive sprint planning, daily standups and conduct r regular walkthroughs with development team & stakeholders to ensure shared understanding, collaboration, and clarity throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans and cases, support UAT, resolve issues, and ensure all requirements are met before implementation.
  • Release Management: Oversee release management activities, including the coordination and scheduling of deployments, and the preparation of comprehensive release notes that clearly outline new features, enhancements, bug fixes, and any relevant implementation details for stakeholders.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to security and privacy standards, including the development and oversight of remediation plans as required.
  • Maintenance & Operations: Provide ongoing support, coordinate issue resolution and to ensure optimal system performance and stability.


 What we're looking for:

  • A degree in Information Technology or related program
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems development within the Information Technology capacity
  • Experience with system integrations
  • Experience in healthcare and insurance domain (an asset) 
  • Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills required (OUTLOOK, WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT)
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong UML activity flow diagram skills (VISIO and/or Figma an asset)
  • Experience with work tracking systems, such as Azure DevOps (i.e. JIRA, Confluence) an asset

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to guide and assist team members on issues related to the selection of software development, deployment and support of business applications.
