About this role

This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our North York office 4 days a week and 1 day a week work from home.


The Marketing Specialist, Programs is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing marketing initiatives that support key programs across Lifemark, including Vocational Rehabilitation, Occupational Health, and Mental Health.  As the marketing prime for these strategic areas, this role works closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional marketing teams to deliver impactful campaigns that drive program awareness and engagement.  This opportunity reports into the Director, Brand & Marketing Services.

 

This position is well suited for a marketer who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys variety in their work, and is comfortable managing multiple initiatives across stakeholders and channels. 

 

In this role, you will

  • Serve as the primary marketing contact for Vocational Rehabilitation, Occupational Health, and Mental Health program leaders, building trusted partnerships and developing a strong understanding of program goals, priorities, and audiences.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand program needs and translate priorities into clear, effective marketing strategies.
  • Lead the coordination of integrated marketing initiatives across multiple channels (web, social, events, design, email, etc.), working with centralized marketing teams to ensure timely and effective execution.
  • Develop and oversee program-related marketing content and assets, ensuring messaging is audience-appropriate (clients, partners, clinicians, and internal teams), on brand, and aligned with Lifemark standards. 
  • Support event marketing (virtual/in-person) including promotions, coordination or materials, and post-event follow-up.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance using relevant KPIs, sharing insights and recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Ensure brand consistency in all program-related communications and assets.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors or partners as needed.
  • Provide sales support through the development of marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations, case studies, etc.

 

What we're looking for:

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a marketing or communications role; healthcare sector experience an asset.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in digital marketing tools/platforms (e.g., social media management tools, CMS/website platforms).
  • Ability to analyze data/reporting metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a cross-functional environment.
