Interior Design Intern

This internship would be assisting Interior Design team with a variety of tasks i.e. creating presentations, playbooks using InDesign, Powerpoint, Bluebeam. Maintaining Design Library along with coordination rep product displays and presentations. Selecting and documenting FFE for various LifeTime Club, Work and Living projects. Assisting with selecting finishes and procuring samples as needed. Variety of other design related tasks as needed.

Position Summary

Life Time seeks a motivated student or recent graduate to assist in the participation of the organization’s day-to-day operations. They will work in a collaborative environment to improve experiences for Life Time members, prospective members and team members. This internship is an opportunity for a student to take ownership of designated projects for an abbreviated period of time to help extend and apply their knowledge to meet business goals.

                                                                       

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Works cross-functionally with teams to execute strategies to meet business needs
  • Assists members of design teams with multiple project-related tasks
  • Performs elementary interiors assignments and works from designs of others
  • Provides research assistance as assigned   
  • Observes multiple office positions and trains in a variety of tasks             
  • Attends company meetings and functions as needed    
  • Assists in other miscellaneous tasks as needed               

Position Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program
  • Currently maintaining a GPA of 2.0 or higher
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and adaptive
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • A passion for Life Time’s mission

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $14.25 and pays up to $17.00, based on experience and qualifications.
